The Tasting Room on Duke Street, Padstow

Our Tasting Room on Duke Street, has reinvented the old Post Office to create a unique space.

Two Columns - Partially Boxed
Duke Street is a light and airy space, offering different seating options for groups of up to 8. We also have retail gifts and products for takeaway.

Converted from the Old Post Office, which served the town and surrounding areas for over a century, it has become a special place to relax and take some time out. We offer modest food options such as platters and pies, ideal to accompany your chosen drink, be it beer, wine, gin or cocktails.

We welcome dogs. We also welcome families with young children up to 6pm.

Accessibility: We have level access at the rear of the property for manual wheelchairs. We have two level access WCs, one is larger than standard but not fully equipped with grab bars.

It's not just about the beer...

But being part of a brewery, the beer is the main event! With over 10 craft beers on tap, both draught cask and draught keg, it can be difficult to choose . Our very popular Tasting Flight is the answer - trying three thirds of a pint is a great way to discover your favourite!

Most of the beers are brewed by Padstow Brewing Co, but we love a guest beer and usually have one or two on.

Some beers are so popular that they're on all the time, such as First Class - our Best Bitter (named with a nod to the building's past), and Pocket Rocket - our very popular hoppy session IPA. Others range from Ales to Lagers to Stouts, and the occasional test brew from our pilot kit.

They're ideal for a snack, light lunch or early evening nibble.
